In this job share position, you will work under the supervision of Charge Technologists across various lab areas, including Core Lab, Histology, and Microbiology. Your responsibilities will span from patient registration to media inoculation and tissue disposal, providing essential support to the laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection tasks
- Assist with patient registration and lab inventory management
- Support media inoculation and histology slide labeling
- Rotate through Core Lab, Histology, and Microbiology sections
- Handle tissue filing and disposal according to protocols
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician
- Graduate of an accredited MLA training program
- Familiarity with phlebotomy and microbiology
- Organized, self-directed, and able to work under supervision
- Recent related experience preferred
