The Quality Control Packaging Technician verifies primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging against specifications, drawings, standards, methods, and samples. Working under QC/QA direction, this position records results accurately and reports discrepancies promptly. The work supports packaging functionality, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, sample, and prepare packaging components
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional packaging tests
- Conduct leakage, torque, dispensing, adhesion, and compatibility checks
- Support incoming inspection, line trials, and finished-product evaluations
- Record results and escalate defects or atypical findings
Requirements:
- College diploma or certificate in packaging, quality, laboratory, or related studies
- Up to two years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to follow specifications, drawings, samples, and test methods
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
