Help advance Humanoid’s HMND‑01 robots in Vancouver through actuator integration, precision mechanisms, and multidisciplinary hardware development. Build for mobility and manipulation. This senior engineering role focuses on mechanical systems that enable humanoid robot movement and manipulation. You will select materials and manufacturing methods, design precision assemblies, and integrate actuators and sensors into robotic platforms. Collaboration spans mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineering teams. Key Responsibilities:
Integrate motors, bearings, encoders, and drives Select materials and scalable manufacturing methods Design components for casting, moulding, and extrusion Conduct mechanical testing, validation, and reliability assessments Perform design reviews, risk assessments, and safety analysis Requirements:
Seven-plus years in mechanical design for robotics or electromechanical systems Strong mechanics, statics, dynamics, and materials fundamentals Experience designing precision mechanical assemblies or mechanisms Familiarity with CNC, additive manufacturing, and injection moulding Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bring precision mechanical engineering and system integration experience to Humanoid’s safe, scalable humanoid robot platform.
