This Monitoring and Observability Engineer will lead a significant platform transition from Icinga, Grafana, and Prometheus to LogicMonitor. You will establish organisation-wide standards, improve service visibility, and develop more proactive ways to identify and resolve issues across technical environments and critical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform monitoring capability through the LogicMonitor migration
- Set organisation-wide standards for dashboards and alerting
- Develop service health and availability reporting
- Create performance insights using monitoring data and KPIs
- Provide technical leadership and share monitoring knowledge
Requirements:
- Strong enterprise monitoring platform experience
- Practical LogicMonitor, Icinga, Grafana, and Prometheus experience
- Understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring
- Knowledge of alerting strategies and dashboard development
- Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
