Huawei Canada has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Channel Sales & Retail Operation Manager.
About the Team
As a regional accounting shared service center, it is responsible for providing high-quality, efficient, and standardized accounting services to the region, effectively fulfilling accounting monitoring responsibilities, and delivering high-quality financial reports that comply with international accounting standards, Chinese accounting standards, and local accounting standards.
About the Job
- Manage distributor and partner sell-in. Track order fulfillment, payment collections, and inventory turnover to ensure healthy channel operations.
- Work closely with channel partners to achieve quarterly and annual distribution sales targets.
- Monitor inventory levels across the channel, flag excess or aging stock early, and coordinate with partners on mitigation plans to prevent overstock and obsolescence.
- Analyze sell-through data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; provide regular reporting to management.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across key retail stores, drive shelf share, fixture placement, demo table setup, and point-of-sale material deployment in line with brand standards.
- Establish and maintain retail audit routines to monitor compliance on display, demo device functionality, and merchandising execution.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributors, retail buyers, and carrier partners across Canada.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners where needed to expand coverage in underpenetrated regions or retail verticals.
The total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.

- About the ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, retail operations, or trade marketing in Canada, ideally within consumer electronics, telecommunications, or FMCG.
- Proven track record of managing distributor relationships and achieving sell-in/sell-through targets.
- Strong understanding of Canadian retail landscape such as major chains, carrier channels and independent dealer networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
