As Building Manager with Community Land Trust, you will independently oversee assigned communities and support residents, Boards of Directors, contractors, and CLT staff. The work combines building maintenance, financial administration, governance compliance, and conflict resolution. You will help keep communities safe, well maintained, financially sustainable, and aligned with applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housing co-operative operations and administration
- Inspect buildings, grounds, common areas, and facilities
- Coordinate maintenance requests, contractors, inspections, and repairs
- Respond to resident concerns, complaints, and conflicts
- Support Board meetings, reports, and governance decisions
Requirements:
- Two to three years managing multi-unit residential properties
- Knowledge of building maintenance and contractor management
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
- Basic bookkeeping and financial administration experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency and strong organizational abilities
