Overview
Our business partner, a well-established interior design firm with a strong reputation in both commercial and residential projects, is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to take a leadership role within their team.
Location: Town of Mount Royal, QC | Hybrid (1 day remote)
Salary: CA$75,000 – CA$95,000 per year (depending on experience). Base pay range: CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee full design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring creativity, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and design direction.
- Manage client relationships with confidence, from initial consultation to final presentation.
- Develop and present innovative design concepts, drawings, and 3D renderings.
- Supervise material selection, specifications, and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 7+ years of proven experience in interior design, with strong exposure to both commercial and residential projects.
- Advanced proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates leadership in design and execution.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Experience in Quebec or Canada preferred; international experience will be considered for candidates currently residing in Quebec.
- English required; French is an asset.
