The Senior Analyst, Real Estate serves as a technical expert for Investment Management and external asset and property managers. You will address complex accounting issues, oversee financial data, and guide two Analysts. The work covers varied reporting standards and foreign exchange considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record acquisitions, dispositions, and ownership changes in Yardi
- Review and approve manual month-end entries
- Reconcile external manager data with HOOPP policies
- Prepare general ledger entries and working papers
- Guide, mentor, and review two Analysts
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
- Qualified accountant designation, preferably CPA
- Five to ten years’ real estate operations experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with Yardi software is an asset
