Support clean, safe schools as a Casual Custodial Assistant with HFCRD in Valleyview and High Prairie, Alberta, using cleaning and disinfection skills.
This position supports custodial teams and the Head Custodian across multiple schools. You will help maintain welcoming environments for students and staff through routine cleaning, disinfection, supply checks, and communication. The work includes classrooms, hallways, washrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect high touch points throughout each day
- Check paper towels, cloths, soap, and disinfectants daily
- Clean classrooms, corridors, washrooms, infirmaries, and offices
- Report building, equipment, and safety issues to supervisors
- Sweep entrances, remove snow, empty bins, and maintain grounds
Requirements:
- Conscientious, reliable, and consistent work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Custodial experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Flexibility for varied shifts and confidential, Christ-centered environments
