Reporting to the Branch Manager, this Member Services Representative provides full frontline banking services and exceptional member experiences. You will assess needs, recommend products, resolve concerns, and support financial wellbeing. Daily work includes accounts, transactions, cash balancing, and compliance with HMECU policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and recommend appropriate products and services
- Provide professional advice through in-person, phone, and email channels
- Resolve concerns using judgment and service recovery techniques
- Open and close member accounts accurately
- Balance cash drawers, cheques, and daily transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of cash-handling experience
- Banking or credit union experience preferred
- Superior customer service for sensitive situations
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
- Strong attention to detail; must be bondable
