RecrutXL has been retained by Mission Control to lead the recruitment of its next Senior Director, People and Culture.
THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, you will lead the people strategy as the company prepares to more than double its workforce. Build and lead the HR function, strengthen organizational capabilities, and create a scalable organization while preserving its entrepreneurial culture.
YOUR KEY PRIORITIES
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
Develop talent acquisition strategies for specialized technical and engineering roles.
Strengthen leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.
Build competitive compensation, benefits, and retention programs.
Establish scalable HR systems, policies, and processes.
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic business priorities.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior HR leadership.
Proven success building or scaling HR functions in high-growth environments.
Strong expertise in organizational development, talent acquisition, and change management.
Experience recruiting specialized technical or engineering professionals.
Solid knowledge of Ontario employment legislation.
University degree and recognized HR designation (CHRP or equivalent).
Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance.
Experience in aerospace, defence, engineering, or advanced technology is an asset.
