The salary range for this role is $67,000.00 to $83,800.00 CAD. Base salaries are determined during our interview process.
Job Summary
Join the North America Accounting team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will contribute to monthly close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance processes across multiple entities.

What You'll Do
- Prepare and process journal entries in support of monthly close activities.
- Complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Record daily accounting transactions.
- Support monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of Pernod Ricard monthly reporting packages.
- Perform routine account reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
- Prepare monthly VAT filings and support tax reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial information and provide basic variance analysis.
- Support internal control compliance and process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation completed or actively in progress.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with integrated accounting systems and financial reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with JD Edwards E1 and Hubble is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
