Haul heavy equipment with Herc Rentals as a Class 1 Driver, applying flatbed experience, equipment securing, and safe commercial vehicle operation. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You will move assorted construction equipment between customers and Herc Rentals locations. This position requires at least three years driving a manual 53-foot flatbed while hauling boom lifts. Daily work includes loading, offloading, inspections, documentation, and responding to customer demands while following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and offload assorted construction and heavy equipment
- Operate commercial vehicles safely through challenging conditions
- Chain, strap, and block equipment according to procedures
- Perform accurate inspections before and after deliveries
- Remain flexible when customer demands change daily routines
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 license required for the position
- Minimum three years manual 53-foot flatbed experience
- Experience hauling boom lifts and other heavy equipment
- Ability to drive to Prince George and stay at camp
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required
