As a Personal Lines Underwriter II, you will evaluate renewals, endorsements, and new submissions within Heartland Mutual Insurance. Apply underwriting philosophy, prepare policy terms, and support profitable business decisions. The work requires insurance industry experience and understanding of Personal Lines contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and negotiate renewals, endorsements, and new business
- Gather customer information and analyze relevant risk data
- Prepare insurance policy terms and conditions
- Manage underwriting portfolios within the operational plan
- Ensure practices comply with regulatory obligations
Requirements:
- Previous insurance industry experience
- Solid understanding of Personal Lines contracts
- Proven decision-making and analytical skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- CIP designation preferred
