Process accurate vendor invoices at Hearing Solutions as a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist working in-office in North York. Use QuickBooks and Excel daily.
This contract position reports to the AR/AP Supervisor and may become permanent based on business needs and performance. You will manage invoices, reconciliations, accruals, payments, and documentation. The work requires knowledge of Ontario accounting and business practices, careful data entry, and timely follow-through. You will also support month-end activities and respond to inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, code, post, and process vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies monthly
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, bank debits, and EFTs
- Maintain supporting documentation for AP transactions
- Respond to inquiries and maintain vendor relationships
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience
- Knowledge of Ontario accounting and business practices
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency and strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities
