Westside Animal Hospital seeks an RVT with at least one year of post-graduation experience. You will assist veterinarians with diagnostics, procedures, anesthesia, pain management, and recovery. The position also includes IV catheter placement, medication administration, laboratory samples, medical records, and client education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Monitor anesthesia, recovery, pain management, and patient preparation
- Place IV catheters and administer medications, fluids, and treatments
- Collect and process laboratory samples and maintain accurate records
- Educate clients about medications, nutrition, prevention, and home care
Requirements:
- Complete a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program
- Hold eligibility for registration in the applicable province
