This full-time Manager, Accounting Services role supports an integrated hospital system serving Whitehorse, Watson Lake, and Dawson City. Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will oversee accounting operations, reporting, reconciliations, cash management, and controls for Yukon Hospitals Corporation, Yukon Hospitals Foundation, and Run for Mom. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting processes and financial reporting activities Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant financial information Manage reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Assess discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective action Explain financial information to financial and non-financial audiences Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field Several years’ relevant financial reporting or operations experience Experience coordinating audits and implementing internal controls Strong leadership and human resources management skills Ability to manage priorities and critical deadlines accurately Bring healthcare accounting operations, compliance knowledge, and clear communication to Yukon Hospitals’ finance team across three communities.
