Drive pension calculation integrity with HOOPP as an Associate Director of Actuarial Solutions. This senior role focuses on technical leadership to ensure accurate member data and pension calculations across our systems.
As a key resource in HOOPP’s Pension Services division, you will enhance the accuracy of pension-related information while collaborating with diverse teams. Your experience will translate complex legislation and policy into viable solutions affecting members in Ontario’s healthcare sector. You will lead initiatives that ensure precise calculations and strategize improvements for modernized calculation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead accuracy of pension calculations across various administration tools • Serve as a senior expert for complex technical pension administration cases • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives related to pension data solutions • Develop and implement calculation requirements and testing strategies • Oversee the integrity of pension data in all related systems
Requirements: • University degree in actuarial science • ASA or ACIA designation required, progress toward FCIA preferred • Minimum 10 years of experience in pensions consulting or actuarial work • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex pension-related issues • Proven leadership experience in technical project delivery
