This Occupational Therapist assignment supports resident care and quality of life in a seniors' care facility. You will assess functional needs, develop individualized interventions, and recommend adaptive equipment. The work also involves collaboration and clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess daily living abilities, functional needs, and resident safety
- Develop interventions supporting independence and participation
- Recommend adaptive equipment for safe daily activities
- Collaborate with care teams on resident support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
- Recognized Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current authorization to practise in British Columbia
- Seniors' care, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Previous Good Samaritan experience is an asset
