About the Opportunity
HealthOPM is recruiting a Occupational Therapist for a potential temporary or contract assignment with Good Samaritan at a seniors’ care facility in Salmon Arm, BC. This opportunity supports resident care and quality of life. Accommodation may be available, depending on assignment arrangements.
Responsibilities

Assess residents’ daily living abilities, functional needs and safety.

Develop individualized interventions to support independence and participation.

Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies for safe daily activities.

Collaborate with care teams and maintain clinical documentation.
Requirements
-
Recognized Occupational Therapy qualification and current authorization to practise in BC.

Seniors’ care, long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
-
Previous Good Samaritan experience is an asset.
