The Division of Internal Medicine seeks a full-time General Internist for a 45,000-population referral base. The position provides full-spectrum General Internal Medicine, with onsite cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function, Holter, and blood pressure monitoring. An outpatient practice opportunity is also available through the Alberni Internal Medicine clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum General Internal Medicine services
- Provide full Intensive Care capabilities
- Provide full Coronary Care capabilities
- Support inpatient care for the referral base
- Participate in outpatient practice at AIM clinic
Requirements:
- Medical qualification for General Internist practice
- Interest in teaching and supervising medical learners
- Eligibility for a UBC faculty appointment if teaching
- Availability for a full-time position
- Availability to start as soon as possible
