Practice child and youth psychiatry in Penticton, supported by comprehensive client-centered care and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. General psychiatry may also be included.
This opportunity offers two positions at Penticton Regional Hospital for Child and Youth Psychiatrists. You will provide care within community child and youth mental health programming and the 16-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. The practice includes individual and group counselling, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, integrated psychiatric services, and Acute Mental Health and Substance Use services. Teaching medical students, quality improvement, and program development activities are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide child and youth psychiatric services
- Support individual and group counselling programs
- Deliver integrated psychiatric services in the community
- Participate in inpatient mental health and substance use care

Requirements:
- Practice interest in child and youth psychiatry
- Willingness to participate in general psychiatry
- Availability for approximately one-in-five to six call
- Participation in rotating weekends
- Interest in quality improvement activities
