This position is part of the Respirology group practice at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center, a 272-bed facility affiliated with the University of British Columbia. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive respirology services and access a range of internal medicine subspecialties. Candidates should possess extensive clinical experience in Respirology, with interventional respirology experience being a notable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inpatient and on-call respirology services
- Support pulmonary function and sleep lab operations
- Perform bronchoscopy procedures as needed
- Collaborate with internal medicine subspecialty groups
- Provide comprehensive care for patients within the unit
Requirements:
- Passed Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine & Respirology
- Proven clinical experience in all Respirology areas
- Experience in interventional respirology is desirable
- Familiarity with pulmonary fibrosis management
- Availability for on-call duties during the contract
