Fraser Health is seeking Hospitalist physicians for a well-established program at Burnaby Hospital. Physicians provide admission and management as Most Responsible Physician for unattached patients, plus supportive care. The work includes medical, surgical specialty, and psychiatric patients within an inter-professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit and manage otherwise unattached patients as Most Responsible Physician
- Provide supportive care for surgical, medical specialty, and psychiatric patients
- Share intake, evening, weekend, and night shifts equally
- Contribute to committee and administrative work
- Support continuity of care, including approximately one-in-three weekends
Requirements:
- CCFP qualification
- CPSBC Full Licensure
- Canadian Medical Protective Association membership
- ACLS suggested
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
