HDR Engineering seeks a Substation Electrical EIT for its nationally ranked Power Delivery team. You will prepare designs for low, medium, and high voltage substations, from device replacements to greenfield sites. The position offers flexibility to build knowledge across high voltage substation design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs
- Develop drawings with Designers and CADD Technicians
- Create diagrams, schematics, layouts, lists, and calculations
- Perform site visits during design, construction, and as-built phases
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- At least two years of substation design experience
- Experience in protection and control or physical design
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and detail skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
