Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance Solution Architect in Winnipeg

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance Solution Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting customer requirements and completing projects. The Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance Solution Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery, capable of switching between supporting or leading customer-facing functional workshops and a group of functional finance consultants and business analysts. They will support technical roles including interface design, data configuration, migration, and development teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress, risks, and issues.

The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, able to multitask, meticulously organized, and prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. This person will be a confident communicator and a good coordinator, able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organization. They will have experience managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of functional design and delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive quality and consistency within the company and champion the use of the Proven Process methodology.
• Assume overall responsibility for finance solution design and architecture, ensuring clear visibility of transition from as-is to to-be solution landscape.
• Act as a functional lead across the finance functional stream, leading functional workshops with customers, documenting requirements, and designing appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with interface/integration and data migration leads, leading functional elements of workshops and owning overall configuration and gold build of the solution.
• Advocate adherence to standards and best practices, providing support to functional and development teams.
• Engage with the test team to ensure thorough testing of the solution.
• Stay current on D365 F&SCM and related technologies, particularly Azure stack technologies.
• Mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to grow the team’s capability.
• Participate in pre-sales engagements and work with the sales team on tender responses, estimates, and customer demonstrations.
• Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans) and take responsibility for project success.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in project operations and PMA, focusing on WIP, revenue recognition, and WBS across multiple sectors.
• Solid Microsoft platform software experience.
• Extensive experience as a finance functional lead or solution architect with AX or D365 F&O; D365 Project Ops experience is a plus.
• At least 5 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of AX or D365 F&O.
• Expert knowledge of finance with industry experience across several sectors.
• Experience using Microsoft DevOps to manage project deliverables.
• Able to manage or lead multiple large projects (6-24 months) with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable speaking with clients at all levels.
• Ability to balance short-term demands with long-term vision through the implementation process.
• Adherence to HCLTech guiding principles.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Ability to work remotely and on customer sites; regular travel is expected.

Qualifications

• MBA / M.Com / B.Com / B.Tech / B.E or equivalent from a reputed university.
• MB-310 certification.
• MB-700 certification.
