We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Technical Recruiter to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end sourcing, engagement, and acquisition of top-tier IT talent to accelerate team growth in Canada and beyond.
Bringing your bilingual (English/French) expertise, you will manage full-cycle recruitment for both technical and executive roles, delivering an exceptional candidate experience while aligning hiring initiatives with strategic business objectives.
Work Location: Missisaugua, ON. - RTO once a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ a diverse array of sourcing channels including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, professional networks, job fairs to attract quality candidates.
- Build and nurture robust talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring demands, focusing on technical and executive roles.
- Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including screenings and initial interviews, to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interview scheduling, provide guidance, and ensure a seamless interview process.
- Manage candidate evaluations, gather interviewer feedback, and facilitate informed hiring decisions.
- Develop compelling job offers, skillfully negotiating terms to attract ideal candidates while aligning with business requirements.
- Support onboarding efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Monitor, track, and analyze recruitment metrics, delivering regular reports and insights to stakeholders for continuous process improvement.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes (including Bill 96 and French-language hiring regulations), and other relevant developments to enhance sourcing strategies and employer branding efforts.
- Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of overall recruiting experience, including a minimum of 2 years specifically within the IT sector, with a focus on full-cycle end-to-end recruitment and volume hiring.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening, and hiring both technical specialists and executive-level talent.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, with strong communication skills in both languages to manage all recruitment activities effectively.
- Solid understanding of recruitment metrics, sourcing strategies, and industry trends.
- Experience navigating local regulations such as Bill 96, with a focus on bilingual and French-language hiring practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with ATS systems and recruitment platforms including SAP SuccessFactors.
Advanced Skills:
- Prior experience supporting Canadian IT recruitment markets, especially in bilingual environments.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM) is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting data and continuously optimizing recruitment processes.
