We're seeking a Senior Storage Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who thrives in complex Linux and storage environments and is passionate about automation, reliability, and operational excellence. Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
What You'll Do:
- Design, manage, and optimize large-scale enterprise storage environments, including IBM Storage Scale (GPFS) and NAS platforms.
- Automate infrastructure management and operational processes using Python and modern tooling.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance storage platform performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support and maintain mission-critical Linux-based environments and distributed storage systems.
- Partner with cloud, networking, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, observability, and SRE best practices.
- Contribute to the scalability and future growth of enterprise storage services.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong experience with Linux Administration in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with NAS technologies, file systems, and protocols such as NFS and SMB/CIFS.
- Knowledge of Software Defined Storage (SDS) and cloud technologies.
- Experience supporting storage and Unix protocols including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
- Strong Python scripting skills with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and storage connectivity concepts.
- Experience supporting large-scale, highly available production environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with IBM Storage Scale (GPFS) is a strong asset.
