At Hatch, you will support large and small mining projects, including underground mining areas. The Senior Structural Engineer develops layouts, performs structural analysis, prepares calculations, and supports front end planning and detailed engineering. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on safe, sustainable project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering calculations for structural design activities
- Develop concrete foundation and structural steel layouts
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and reports
- Review technical work from engineers, designers, and technicians
- Participate in design reviews and project scope definition
Requirements:
- Recognized civil or structural engineering degree
- Professional engineer registration or active candidate registration
- At least seven years of project engineering experience
- Underground mining and shaft or headframe design experience
- Experience with Staad Pro structural analysis software
