Serve Hastings County as an Advanced Care Paramedic using emergency medical expertise in a permanent full-time, on-site position. Primary Care Paramedics are also considered.
Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services provides emergency services across urban centres and rural posts throughout the county. This position suits Advanced or Primary Care Paramedics holding recognized college certification and meeting Ambulance Act requirements. Professional development opportunities include specialized response teams, Team Lead appointments, and event-based emergency services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency services across Hastings County
- Serve patients from urban centres and rural posts
- Participate in the Emergency Response Team
- Support Difficult Access Response Team activities
- Provide emergency services at community events
Requirements:
- Hold an Advanced or Primary Care Paramedic Certificate
- Demonstrate full Ambulance Act qualification compliance
- Complete the Ontario Ministry of Health certification exam
- Advanced Care Paramedic emergency medical service experience preferred
- Produce a current driver's abstract for interview
