As a Merchandise Control Assistant, you will support buying and inventory management for Harry Rosen's Canadian retail business. The full-time permanent position reports to the Director of Planning and maintains product information, purchase orders, and merchandise flow. Your work supports product availability and operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create styles and purchase orders from Buyer worksheets
- Communicate purchase orders and distribute vendor documentation
- Input cancellations, deferments, style, and price changes
- Oversee allocations and update shared worksheets
- Process restyling, reticketing, RA numbers, and RTVs
Requirements:
- Post-secondary business, supply chain, or merchandising education preferred
- One to three years of relevant merchandising experience
- Accurate data entry and reporting skills
- Microsoft Excel and inventory system familiarity
- Strong organization, communication, and deadline management skills
