About This Opportunity
This position will join our team working in Matachewan, Ontarioon a full-time basis. The schedule is 7days on, 7 days off.
This position offers a salary range of $85.00 to $95.00 perhour.
Key Responsibilities
- Safelyoperate a MacLean Bolter to install bolts, screen, mesh and other groundsupport as required in development headings.
- Installbolts, screen, mesh and other ground support as required.
- Conductsworkplace inspections and hazard assessments.
- Performspre-operational equipment inspections.
- Completesminor maintenance on equipment.
- Workssafely while following mine procedures
- Allother duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimumof two years experience of operating a MacLean Bolter in an undergroundmining environment.
- ValidOntario Underground Hard Rock Common Core
- Strongknowledge of drilling and blasting techniques
- Abilityto work in a physically demanding environment
- Validdriver’s license
- Eligibleto work in Canada
