Role Description
We are seeking a full‐time Shift Manager to join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This on‐site role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing team members, and ensuring high‐quality customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising staff
- Monitoring workflows
- Ensuring compliance with operational standards
- Handling customer inquiries
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Performance management
- Driving continuous improvements in efficiency and service
Qualifications
- Leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational and problem‐solving abilities, with attention to detail and time management
- Customer service and communication skills to handle guest interactions with professionalism and care
- Experience in operational processes, such as inventory management, quality control, and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is an asset
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or management are advantageous
- A positive attitude, team‐oriented mindset, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment
