Operate forklifts safely at Gwillimdale Farms in Bradford, Ontario, supporting raw-material unloading, loading, storage, and production schedules. Full-time work includes seasonal schedule changes.
As a Forklift Operator, you will receive, store, and distribute raw materials and products throughout the facility. The work supports local and international produce operations while requiring communication, organization, and decisive problem-solving. Evening and weekend hours vary during planting and harvest seasons, with overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload, load, receive, store, and distribute materials
- Move raw materials and products throughout the facility
- Complete pre-operational forklift inspections
- Record food safety and traceability paperwork
- Label materials with lot and pallet tag numbers
Requirements:
- Valid forklift license and previous experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
