Guardteck Security seeks reliable, professional guards for retail, commercial, and multi-tenant sites. You may patrol shopping centres, monitor CCTV, manage access, assist visitors, and respond to emergencies. The work combines strong observation, documentation, and calm communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol retail areas, mall floors, parkades, and assigned posts
- Maintain visible, professional security presence throughout properties
- Monitor CCTV and access control systems as assigned
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical incidents, and fires
- Complete accurate activity, incident, and inspection documentation
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Security Guard License required
- Previous tactical and hands-on security experience required
- First Aid and CPR certification required or obtainable
- Strong computer, observation, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to walk 15,000 to 20,000 steps per shift
