The team serves the Niagara Region, specializing in commercial refrigeration design, installation, service and maintenance. You'll work alongside experienced technicians on commercial and industrial HVAC-R projects, with limited residential work. This is an opportunity to strengthen your troubleshooting skills, gain varied hands-on experience and contribute to a team that takes pride in its workmanship.
What you'll do:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, with responsibilities suited to your experience and qualifications.
- Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specifications.
- Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites.
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
- Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
What you'll bring:
- Registration as a 3rd or 4th year 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprentice, or a valid 313A licence.
- At least two years of hands-on HVAC experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
- A valid Ontario G driver's licence and clean driving record.
- Working at Heights certification.
- A dependable, safety-conscious approach and the ability to work well with others.
- The ability to work independently within the scope of your training and qualifications.
References and a criminal background check are required as part of the hiring process.
