Role Overview: As a Technical Expert, you will serve as an enterprise technical authority on aircraft structural design—leading design strategy, resolving complex integration challenges, and mentoring engineering teams. Your scope spans configuration, 3D modeling, production, certification, and in-service support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Design: Develop and review 3D models, assemblies, metallic/composite parts, joints, GD&T, and installation drawings.
- Integration & Governance: Coordinate across disciplines (stress, systems, manufacturing, quality) to resolve geometric conflicts and lead trade studies.
- Certification & Support: Drive root-cause analysis, supplier/production engineering changes, and PLM configuration control.
- Technical Leadership: Guide design architecture, mitigate technical risks, and define organizational standards.
