Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration and HVAC systems across a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures to ensure the continued operation of the properties
- Carry out equipment installations and replacements as required
- Work closely with the Technical Supervisor and internal teams
- Prepare service reports and follow up on completed work
- Interact with tenants and suppliers when required
Qualifications
- Training in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field
- Certification for the handling of refrigerants
- Experience in commercial building maintenance is an asset
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, and electrical systems
- Ability to work effectively under the direction of a Technical Supervisor
- Strong customer service skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
