Support group insurance underwriting at GreenShield by applying analytical skills to quotes, renewals, costing, and client financial activities. This role supports prospective business.
As a Small Group Underwriter, you will assist underwriters with quote activity, renewal work, alternative plan design costing, and financial audits. You will prepare EP3 statements, ASO reconciliations, and Transfer ASO deposit calculations. The position also supports pool monthly renewals, reporting, client requests, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters with prospective and new business quotes
- Support renewals and alternative plan design costing activities
- Prepare EP3 statements for applicable clients
- Complete ASO reconciliations and Transfer ASO calculations
- Support small group pool monthly renewals
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or computer science
- One to three years of group insurance experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
