Lead mechanical maintenance at Greenfire’s SAGD facilities in Fort McMurray, applying equipment reliability expertise across a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation. The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and technical oversight at central processing facilities, well pads, and associated infrastructure. This full-time, permanent position directs preventive, corrective, and emergent work on rotating and stationary equipment. The Supervisor supports safe execution, regulatory compliance, and cost-conscious maintenance delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily mechanical maintenance across plants and well pads
- Oversee pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and pressure equipment
- Guide troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and reliability improvements
- Coordinate SIMOPS, isolations, permits, and safe equipment handovers
- Use Maximo to maintain work orders and equipment history
Requirements:
- Red Seal mechanical trade certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum ten years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Experience leading crews or contractors in operating facilities
- Knowledge of Alberta OHS, ABSA, and pressure-system codes
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and site access capability
