  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in agricultural and energy commodities — specifically corn, ethanol, and natural gas — including deep familiarity with the physical and derivative markets that govern their pricing
  • Proven track record executing derivative transactions (futures, options, OTC) and managing hedge programs in a commodities environment
  • Experience managing implementation projects for risk and/or financial processes is an asset; hands-on involvement in the configuration of commodity risk and trading functionality within DycoTrade (Microsoft D365) will be a key near-term priority for this role
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, broker platforms, and relevant ETRM or risk systems; experience with database, multi-dimensional reporting, and statistical/mathematical software
  • Strong working knowledge of CBOT-listed contracts (corn, ethanol) and NYMEX natural gas markets, including crush spread dynamics and their application to ethanol margin management
  • Familiarity with investment portfolio management techniques including risk-adjusted returns and portfolio optimization
