Lead wildfire warehouse operations in High Level, Alberta, using inventory control and equipment coordination to support forest operations. This permanent role is full time.
As Warehouse Supervisor with Alberta Forestry and Parks, you will oversee materials, supplies, and equipment for the High Level Forest Area. The position supports Wildfire Management and Forest Operations through procurement, asset tracking, mobile equipment coordination, and logistical assistance. Reporting to the Wildfire Operations Officer, you will help ensure resources are available for pre-suppression and suppression activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise distribution, tracking, control, and disposal of inventory
- Maintain inventory and asset records to provincial standards
- Coordinate wildfire equipment acquisition, returns, and maintenance
- Manage ATVs, fleet activities, and short-term equipment rentals
- Train staff and support Incident Command Teams logistically
Requirements:
- High school diploma and three years of related experience
- Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Standard First Aid certification
- Experience with inventory and asset management is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely
