As Supervisor, Support Staff with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service, you will oversee Legal Assistants and support prosecutors and court operations. Your work includes workload allocation, employee development, legal file administration, stakeholder relationships, and operational improvement. The position requires criminal justice knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily unit operations supporting prosecutors and court operations
- Supervise, coach, and develop Legal Assistants
- Manage workloads, priorities, quality assurance, and court deadlines
- Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and training
- Oversee legal files, court documents, and records
Requirements:
- Two-year diploma in a related field
- Two years progressively responsible criminal justice experience
- Supervisory experience managing five or more employees
- Understanding of justice systems and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
