Govan Brown seeks a Health and Safety Coordinator for assigned commercial construction sites. You will execute health and safety policies, programs, and processes while collaborating with site management. The work requires strong construction safety knowledge, stakeholder relationships, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee health and safety on assigned construction sites
- Conduct orientations, toolbox meetings, inspections, and related reports
- Investigate injuries, accidents, and near misses
- Complete accident, WSIB, and Occupational Health and Safety reports
- Enforce regulations and liaise with construction stakeholders
Requirements:
- Three or more years leading safety on commercial construction sites
- Occupational Health and Safety diploma
- WSIB certified committee member
- Standard First Aid with CPR A and AED
- Valid Class G licence and reliable vehicle required
