Gordon Food Service is seeking a Class 1 Local Delivery Driver for its Kamloops operation. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts, with a third-week rotation, floater coverage, and a 4:30 a.m. start. You will deliver products, support customers, and follow company procedures. The role requires safe driving, accurate delivery records, and appropriate payment handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on local routes
- Correctly offload products at customer locations
- Record delivery information accurately
- Accept payment for goods when required
- Ensure operational vehicle safety in all aspects
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds
- Eligibility for bonding and TDG certification
- Excellent customer service skills and mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent; holiday and weekend availability
