You will translate user requirements into manufacturable designs using 3D modeling, prototyping, testing, and revision. The work spans concurrent projects and cross-functional collaboration. Design precision mechanical products through mass production Create SolidWorks models, assemblies, and engineering drawings Apply DFM, DFA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis Build, test, and refine functional physical prototypes Manage scope, budgets, timelines, suppliers, and manufacturers Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Three-plus years of mechanical design experience Three-plus years developing consumer products through production Proficiency in SolidWorks and precision fabrication methods Experience with FEA, simulation, and design of experiments Bring mechanical design, SolidWorks, prototyping, and manufacturing expertise to precision consumer products in Chilliwack’s Dynamics Engineering Team.
