As Senior Manager, QC Microbiology, you will serve as the technical expert for contamination investigations and microbial methods. You will guide internal operations, external testing, and evolving development and manufacturing programs. The role combines team development, strategic planning, and practical scientific decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the site contamination control program
- Set QC microbiology priorities across internal and external activities
- Guide environmental monitoring, water testing, and utilities monitoring
- Provide SME leadership for mycoplasma and viral testing
- Partner with QA, Manufacturing Operations, CMC, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 12+ years in regulated GMP QC microbiology
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related life sciences
- Expertise in contamination control and microbiological investigations
- Strong external partner oversight and communication experience
- Calm, structured decision-making in complex situations
