About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and driven Assistant Finance Manager to join our used car dealership team.
This role is ideal for someone with sales experience who is eager to develop their career in automotive finance.
You will work closely with the General Manager and sales team to assist with structuring deals, presenting financing options, and ensuring every deal is fully compliant.
A key part of this role is maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant deal files, ensuring all paperwork requirements are met for lender, dealership, and regulatory standards before a deal is finalized.
This is a growth-focused opportunity with hands-on training and clear advancement potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with daily deal flow and customer deliveries
- Present financing options, warranties, and protection products clearly and professionally
- Assist with submitting finance applications and communicating with lenders
- Learn how to structure deals for approval, compliance, and profitability
- Prepare, review, and organize all finance documentation into a complete deal file
- Ensure all paperwork meets dealership, lender, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide a smooth transition from sales to finance for customers
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous sales experience required
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, confident, and detail-oriented
- Eagerness to learn automotive financing, lending, and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Experience with software is an asset
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and paperwork accuracy
