Support The Glencoe Club's People & Culture team with coaching, investigations, and employment legislation expertise in Calgary, Alberta. The role serves both Clubs.
This Human Resources Generalist acts as a trusted advisor to employees, leaders, and management. You will support employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee programs. The position also strengthens policies, workforce initiatives, training, and consistent practices aligned with organizational values and the strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations and coaching on workplace issues
- Facilitate solutions and resolve employee concerns effectively
- Champion continuous learning, development, recognition, and engagement
- Lead training sessions, lunch and learns, and yearly activities
- Contribute expertise to workforce projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Human Resources undergraduate degree or diploma
- Three to five years supporting employee relations and workplace disputes
- Success engaging employees and front-line leaders
- Experience interpreting employment legislation and policies
- Adaptability, multitasking, interpersonal skills, and continuous improvement
