We are locally owned, focused solely on property management, and committed to delivering outstanding service to landlords, investors, and tenants.
Our reputation has been built on expertise, professionalism, and customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our high performing team.
This is not an entry level position. You will take ownership of an established portfolio and be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for your owners and tenants. You will be supported by a dedicated administration team, Operations Manager, and Maintenance Manager, allowing you to focus on portfolio performance, client relationships, and service delivery.
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manage complex situations, and consistently provide an exceptional experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a residential property portfolio to a high standard
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners and tenants
- Conduct routine inspections and provide detailed reporting
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and service providers
- Resolve tenancy issues professionally and efficiently
- Minimise arrears and vacancy rates
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Manage lease renewals, rent reviews, and tenancy changes
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communication at every stage of the tenancy
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing a residential property portfolio
- A strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and property management best practice
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions focused approach
- A commitment to delivering a consistently high level of customer service
- A current full New Zealand driver's licence
- A relevant qualification in property management, or the willingness to work towards your NZ Certificate in Property Management (Level 4) – we will fully fund and support this!
